Characters and spawning for REC_Core, with configuration and implementation details.

The server chooses a position in this order: a valid value returned by handler:getSpawnPosition, the saved position when spawn.useLastPosition = true, then spawn.default.
The default is vector4(-1037.75, -2737.97, 20.17, 328.0), where the fourth value is heading.
| Setting | Default | Behavior |
|---|---|---|
spawn.useLastPosition | true | Use the previous saved position when available. |
spawn.applyDefaultModel | true | Apply the configured freemode model; disable if an appearance resource owns the model. |
spawn.models.male | "mp_m_freemode_01" | Default male model. |
spawn.models.female | "mp_f_freemode_01" | Default female model. |
spawn.fadeDuration | 800 | Screen fade duration in milliseconds. |
characterMenu.camera.enabled | true | Enable the character-menu camera. |
characterMenu.camera.fov | 50.0 | Camera field of view. |
characterMenu.pedCoords places the hidden, frozen player while the menu is open.
Set camera.coords and camera.rotation to frame that area.
If a custom client handler:onSpawn returns true, it takes over spawning, including releasing the player and restoring the screen after the fade.
