Usage

1. Add the item definitions below to ox_inventory and match the item name to config.gasMask.item.
2. Use a mask from the inventory to wear it. Use the same mask again to remove it while it still has durability.
3. Use /removegasmask when the filter is empty. A key can also be assigned in the FiveM key bindings.
4. Define permanent gas zones in config.gas.zones. The damage radius and particle render distance are separate settings.

Oxygen masks

Install both item definitions from _install/ox_inventory_items.lua, matching gasMask.item and oxygenMask.item. Only one mask can be worn at a time. An oxygen mask permits underwater breathing while charge remains; it does not protect against gas.

Use /removeoxygenmask or /removegasmask to remove the worn mask, including when empty. Remaining charge is stored as item metadata charge (0–100) and mirrored to the inventory durability bar. The oxygen mask drains according to durationUnderwater and durationIdle; zero idle duration disables idle drain.

The gauge also displays remaining filter or oxygen time. When using oxygen masks with scuba gear, equipment detection checks the tank drawable and preserves the mask’s appearance.
