Data and persistence

Client synchronization

Data and persistence for REC_Core, with configuration and implementation details.

The client receives its own character and permitted value namespaces. Server-only fields such as the license are omitted from its character snapshot. Block a namespace by assigning true in config.sync.blockedNamespaces in the server config. This affects value-store synchronization; it does not hide metadata or charinfo.

config/sv_config.lua
config.sync.blockedNamespaces = {
    ["REC_Economy"] = true,
}

This is a client-visibility rule, not an access restriction between server resources. Online setValue calls handler:canSetValue before accepting a write. setOfflineValue uses the database directly and does not call that handler, so an extension that relies on the handler must also control its offline callers.
